There is still time to study for the English Literature IGCSE exam next summer as the spec has been reduced

Autumn greetings one and all. This photo was taken in the lane outside my house yesterday; sunlight, bare branches and flickering gold leaves are my favourite of all nature’s sleights of hand. This is just to say that Edexcel English Literature will be trimmed for exams in summer 2022. The power that be have said that the anthology poetry will not be tested (although there will be a question on Unseen Poetry). Also there will be ‘more lenient grading’. I don't know what the 'lenient grading' means, exactly, and nor do they as yet, but I guess it's to keep it in line with candidates who got TAGS the last two years. All this means that if you are thinking about doing English Literature IGCSE, there is plenty of time to get through the spec before next summer's exams, as it is only 3 texts. Just saying.
